Day Habilitation
Our person-centered Day Habilitation services are designed to foster growth and development. The goal is to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) achieving their goals, big or small, each day. Through gaining new skills, participants can discover greater independence and express personal choice in their services while participating in their community by volunteering and participating in outings.
The focus is on developing and promoting:

- Social Skills
- Leisure Skills
- A Sense of Community
The Arc Gloucester has five Day Habilitation centers throughout Gloucester County including a medical day program with on site nurses and medical staff.
Supported Employment Group
Supported Employment Small Group is a work program offered to individuals we serve. Individuals begin their day doing contract jobs. Previous jobs include lot clean-ups, lawn maintenance, roadside clean-ups partnered with surrounding townships, and leaf removal. The second half of the day, individuals attend Day Habilitation.
Through this work program, individuals gain independence and learn pre-vocational skills such as money skills, learning to use powered equipment, various technology, as well as communication and socialization skills. Supported Employment Small Group can be a stepping stone to working independently within the community.
